Then here’s the things you need to consider when planning your golden hour shoot:

1. The Time of Year
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Golden hour happens at a different time depending on what time of year it is! In the winter it can be as early as 3pm and in the summer as late as 9pm!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. The Location
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which direction does the sun set at your venue? Is your venue surrounded by tall buildings or trees where the sun is due to set? If so, this will mean we’ll lose the light earlier as it will dip behind a structure.

3. The Schedule
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Is the time you want do take sunset photos the same time as you’ve scheduled first dance? Make sure you don’t have any schedule clashes!

4. The Research

If you’re lucky enough to stay at your venue the night before you can take a look outside around sunset time and see how the light looks yourself!

This weekend I captured my 250th ever wedding!🤯

If I was counting the times I’ve second shot I think this number would be much higher, but this weekend marked the 250th wedding that Honeydew Moments has ever been hired for!

Isn’t that crazy?

250 incredible couples trusted me enough to capture their wedding days - it’s not something I’ll ever take for granted! 🥹

And oh my goodness, what a day Hollie and Ellis had on Saturday!

Hollie had planned their wedding to perfection, every single unique detail and every beautiful corner of their wedding was breath-taking.

A monochromatic colour palette and the neutral decor of Sant Ffraed House gave the day a classic and timeless feel.

From a morning prep PJ and prosecco party under the disco ball with the bridesmaids in the master suite to a saxophonist bringing the tunes to the dance floor later on - it truly was one of the best parties I’ve ever seen!
