Last year I was here so often it almost felt like my second home! But this year my Syrencot weddings are more spread out and I am so excited to be back at this gorgeous place next week 😍

I mean look at how beautiful it always looks and how every room photographs so perfectly.

Another Tortworth Court wedding, another reminder of why I’ll never get tired of photographing this place ✨

Chloe & Lewis said I do on one of those perfect hot sunny July days we’ve been enjoying lately!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Their eldest son confidently stood up to do a reading during the ceremony before delivering the loveliest speech later in the day. Safe to say there wasn’t a dry eye!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As if the sunshine wasn’t enough, the celebrations had one final surprise... a saxophonist appeared after dinner and the dance floor filled long before the evening party officially began 🎷☀️

I’ve been designing lots of gorgeous albums recently, including my biggest album yet for Eleanor & Sam! They’ve opted for a beautiful large 12” fine-art album with 32 gorgeous spreads!

Album designing is something I don’t usually show or talk about on here but it actually fills up quite a lot of my admin days!

Can we all just agree that registry office wedding

Can we all just agree that registry office weddings deserve way more love? Especially when they’re at a venue as stunning as Insole Court!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sophie and Gerallt tied the knot at beautiful Insole Court, and it was such a lovely reminder that you don’t need a huge wedding for it to feel incredibly special.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sophie got a bit emotional as she read her vows to Gerallt in their ceremony in front of their closest people but the rest of the day was pure joy and happiness. They opted for bubbles instead of confetti - gorgeous! And their eight-month-old little boy completely stole the show 🥹!

Afterwards we wandered through the gardens while the afternoon sun put on an absolute show. The kind of light photographers dream about.

Insole Court is literally seven minutes from my front door. It’s such a gorgeous venue and I’d absolutely love to photograph more weddings here - whether it’s just the two of you, a handful of your favourite people, or a full celebration after your ceremony.

I didn’t even know The Lost Gardens of Heligan did

I didn’t even know The Lost Gardens of Heligan did weddings until Sarah and Alex got in touch! 🌳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I did know of it as a magical garden nestled deep in Cornwall from visiting as a child.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And wow, it did not disappoint! 😍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The girls got ready in nearby woodland lodges before heading to Heligan to say their vows outside at The Folly, and neither of them made it through without tears!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Their two dogs were the stars of the day, with their own signs, dog treat favours and even drinks stirrers with their cute faces on! 🐾
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We explored so much of the lost gardens for their couple portraits but I know there was even so much more we didn’t venture to. Every corner was just beautiful!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They had a relaxed BBQ dinner under a stretch tent in the gardens and the evening ended with cornish pasties, scones and a brilliant ceilidh!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But my favourite part of the day wasn’t actually the venue, it was watching Alex and Sarah together 🥹
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The way they looked at each other and laughed through the portraits. Those are the moments that make a wedding 🥰i#
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I could have easily spent another few hours /days wandering around Heligan with these two.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What a place. What a day! 🌳🥰🐾☀️
