What an absolutely stunning Margam Orangery Wedding Beshlie and Jim had on May 11th!
These two have the most perfect love story!
We met while doing the Duke of Edinburgh award when we were 16. One long weekend hiking across Dartmoor, disagreeing on the correct path to take somehow brought us together!
It came out in the speeches that Jim was very distracted for the whole of D of E due to his mind being on Beshlie the entire time!
They planned the most incredible wedding. drawing inspiration from Jim’s love of bird watching as their theme. Delicately using feathers in their invites, bird names as table names and beautiful hand watercolored birds on the table plan painted by Beshlie herself.
Jim proposed on a secluded beach in Panama during our 3 month adventure around Central America. It was totally unexpected and such a phenomenal surprise!
Beshlie and her bridesmaids got ready at the most beautiful house in Cardiff. They’d hired it for the wedding and it was a photographers dream! White walls, gorgeous high ceilings and even a copper bath tub in the bedroom!
The ceremony at Margam Orangery was just as beautiful. Beshlie’s brother had created this incredible floral circular archway for the alter which went perfectly with Beshlie’s bouquet made by her mum and brother too!
The sun shone all day and gave us the most incredible sunset as we strolled around the beautiful parkland surrounding the Orangery. We even got to visit the greenhouse full of orange and lemon trees.
They danced to L.O.V.E. to open the dance floor to the most fun wedding band. They had everyone up and dancing, even Jim’s elderly grandad!
Such a fantastic day at their Margam Orangery Wedding. Can we do it all over again?
