Gileston Manor Black Tie Wedding – Mr & Mrs Davies

Anna and Gavin had a beautiful Gileston Manor black tie wedding at the end of April.

My wonderful associate photographer captured their day whilst I was in Wiltshire capturing a wedding at Syrencot!

The Proposal

“He planned the proposal himself so I was in complete shock we he asked. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. He did it at a hidden cove just down from my parents house on the coast. He had asked my dad, design the ring himself and was as cool as a cucumber when he asked!”

Anna

Wedding at Gileston Manor

It as the perfect spring day because the sun shone for them for the entire day. The girls got ready at Anna’s parents home before heading to St Illtud’s Church in Llantwit Major for their ceremony.

The church is so beautiful and dates back to the 4th century!

After their wedding ceremony they drove in a silver Bentley over to Gileston Manor. Gileston Manor is one of my favourite wedding venues in South Wales. The grounds are incredible with so many places for photos. There’s a rose tunnel, a walled garden and even a lake with a rowing boat!

They arrived and walked under their confetti before heading into their drinks reception at their Gileston Manor black tie wedding. The pimms and prosecco was flowing and the gardens were the perfect place to enjoy the spring sunshine.

Even the Welsh male vocal choir showed up for a surprise performance!

The Reception

Anna and Gavin enjoyed their photos in the ground before heading into the marquee which was deocrated with so much foliage that it looked like a tropical jungle!

After the speeches were said and the wedding breakfast was eaten, the party got started.

They had hired a bucking bronco for the guests to take on! What an idea!

Their first dance was back in the marquee and the guests enjoyed the live band until the early hours!
