Hannah and James got married at Rockbeare Manor in Somerset, which is a beautiful country house with the most incredible countryside views for miles! They married in July and it was a gorgeous day, the sun shone all day long!
I’d been here once before and the sun shone all day then too, I think this venue is a sun trap!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was a beautiful service in the sunshine in the Pavilion of Rockbeare Manor. During the ceremony their two children walked down the aisle, handed them their rings and completely stole the show! It was such a sweet way to involve them in the ceremony.
They decorated the ceremony and reception areas with olive branches. This was a nod to them wanting to get married in Greece originally. The reception was in the orangery at Rockbeare Manor. I love this venue because the light is gorgeous for portraits and candids in every single room. Weddings at Rockbeare Manor are amazing. The grounds are just incredible, the rooms are stunning and the light is amazing!
The Reception
The newlyweds walked under confetti to their drinks reception in the sunshine where they had an ice cream cart and garden games for everyone to enjoy.
They had the most stunning golden hour where they ran through the flower meadow in the evening sunshine. The evening finished off with magical sparklers!
The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they knew I’d be the photographer for them after I photographed Hannah’s brothers wedding back in 2018!
