My car went in for an MOT and service (spenny) then failed it’s MOT on tyres (double spenny)😫

I’ve got a wonderful weekend of birthday plans. Today I’m celebrating with a trip to my favourite cake shop, an escape room and a romantic dinner out this evening.

Tomorrow is a complete surprise, all I know is my wonderful boyfriend is taking me out for the day - so watch this space! 👀

Getting this shot was a lesson in persistence let me tell ya! 😅

Lily and Dan had the most gorgeous winter wedding at Kimbridge Barn back in November.

We were seriously racing against time for this shot!

It was one of the last photos we could squeeze in before dinner and before we’d lose all the daylight!

We’d managed to sweet-talk the lovely wedding coordinator into giving us an extra five minutes for photos (thank goodness!) so there was no messing around, we had to be quick.

The road for this photo is literally right outside the venue, tucked away in the middle of nowhere.

Normally, it’s super quiet, barely a car in sight. But, of course, the second we needed it to be empty it suddenly turned into a traffic hotspot 🙄

I lost count of how many times we had to hop out of the way for passing cars. Lily and Dan got into position, I’d get ready to take the shot, and…

Nope! Another car. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was like some kind of game, except not one we’d signed up to play!

But you know what, persistence paid off.

After what felt like forever, the road finally cleared long enough for me to grab this shot.

And oh my gosh, I love how it turned out.

Was it a frustrating? Absolutely 😅

But was it worth it? 100% 😍
