Autumn Wedding at Tortworth Court

Toby and Elise had a stunning autumn wedding at Tortworth Court at the end of October in 2022. This was one of those days that I have to pinch myself that this is my job!

This was also my 200th wedding so it was such an incredible milestone to hit at one of my favourite venues!

Tortworth Court is one of my favourite wedding venues. The glass orangery is breath-taking to shoot in, the light is always incredible whatever the weather is doing outside. And when the sun sets, the stars come out and can be seen through the glass roof. So you quite literally dance the night away under the stars! I feel very privileged to be one of only two recommended photographers at this Orangery wedding venue.

The Wedding Day

Elise and Toby flew over from Australia to get married in the stunning orangery at De Vere Tortworth Court!

Originally from the UK, they went travelling together to Australia and fell in love with it so much they decided to stay! But getting married in front of their friends and family was important to them so England it was!

Autumn Wedding at Tortworth Court

Their day was an autumnal dream. The autumn weather gods blessed them with beautiful hazy sunshine all day. Toby’s burgundy suit and autumn florals worked so well together.

They married in the Orangery underneath an autumnal floral archway, the sun hitting their backs during the ceremony as they said their vows. Afterwards they walked out under a flutter of confetti and enjoyed drinks in the hotel lounge.

Then the day finished with some unexpected fireworks that just happened to be planned at Tortworth as a public event! It wasn’t part of their wedding plans but it was such an incredible way to end their day.
