This autumn Syrencot wedding was such a dream! When Amelia first contacted me she described her wedding as “glamorously beautiful and relaxed” and it was exactly that!
As a Syrencot recommended photographer, I’ve shot a lot of weddings at this venue now and I know all the best placed for photos. But each wedding is so unique and I love to try to give each couple something unique to their wedding.
How They Met
Amelia and Fred met at school aged 16, and became best friends! They stayed in contact throughout their time at uni, and ended up out of their separate long term relationships at the same time. They met up for some drinks and 4 years later decided to get married!
The Proposal
“It was on a surprise walk in the woodlands near our house, with the sun shining through the trees. it was a complete surprise and Fred even got down on one knee!“

Autumn Syrencot Wedding
Despite having 8 bridesmaids, the wedding morning was surprisingly calm with all the girls getting ready in the Billiard Room at Syrencot. Amelia headed up to the master suite to put her dress on with the help of her mum before revealing it to her dad. She also revealed to all her bridesmaids waiting at the bottom of the stairs in the main house!
Earlier Fred also got ready in the Master suite so both their morning photos have a cohesive look.
They tied the knot in the glasshouse under a floral moongate and the autumn sunshine came out to play too.
