Exactly 10 years ago today I captured my first eve

Exactly 10 years ago today I captured my first ever wedding ceremony on my own! 🥹

I’d done a little bit of second shooting before that but this was my first solo photography job!

I answered an ad I saw in a facebook group from a bride who said she wasn’t planning to have a photographer but if anyone wanted the experience to come along to her wedding and take some photos with no pressure, then to message her. So I did!

It was a small wedding at Cardiff City Hall and I captured their ceremony and some group photos afterwards and that was it!

It was such a milestone for me and it’s just crazy to see how much I’ve learnt and progressed since that day a whole decade ago!

It feels like there’s always still so much more to learn though. I’ll never stop trying to better myself as a photographer and learning everything I can to be the best for my couples 💛

Forever feeling grateful to have a ‘job’ I adore so much. Meeting the nicest people, getting to witness the most precious moments of your wedding day and all the while creating beautiful art with you.

When I arrive with you in the morning of your wedding, I begin to capture your wedding details. This includes your amazing outfit hanging up, those incredible shoes, your flowers, jewellery, perfume and stationery. All of those little elements which you may forget over time.
