Abbey and Calum had a gorgeous winter engagement shoot at the end of November.
They booked in a couple shoot with me to celebrate 2020 – the year they made it through. 2020 hasn’t been kind to many engaged couples. Unfortunately, Abbey and Calum had to make the hard decision to postpone their Greek destination wedding this year to next year instead.
They wanted some photos to mark this unusual time as well as to give them some practice in front of the camera for their big day! I think it was a perfect idea!
Abbey and Calum met in college 10 years ago and have been together ever since! They are total childhood sweethearts and it was such a pleasure to capture their relationship.
I definitely think Abbey looks like Cameron Diaz in some of these photos! I’m feeling The Holiday Christmas movie vibes going on!
We had the best time exploring the park and chasing the sunlight together at their winter engagement shoot! They took on board all my silly games and prompts and we got some super cute photos of the both of them.
The light was just beautiful. Winter light is one of my favourites to shoot in as it’s soft and flattering. Luckily, the yellow leaves were just about clinging on to the branches of the winter trees and I’m so glad they were.
