Syrencot Military Wedding: Charlotte & Josh
Charlotte and Josh celebrated their unforgettable Syrencot military wedding on a warm August day in the heart of Wiltshire. Josh has two older daughters from a previous relationship and the couple have two more adorable daughters together. They made for the 4 cutest flower girls I’ve ever seen!
The morning began with excitement as the girls got ready in Syrencot’s charming billiard room. Charlotte later moved to the luxurious master suite, where she shared a tearful first-look moment with her father—a highlight of the day. Meanwhile, Josh and his groomsmen donned their striking military uniforms, adding a sense of pride and tradition to the occasion.
The couple exchanged vows in the breathtaking glasshouse, surrounded by stunning decor of pampas grass and neutral flowers. As Charlotte walked through Syrencot’s picturesque gardens toward the ceremony, a gust of wind pulled her veil completely off her head and it had to be rescued before she could finish walking down the aisle. All the while Josh was getting more nervous waiting for his bride!
Syrencot’s grounds came alive with activity after the ceremony. Guests enjoyed garden games like a coconut shy, keeping both kids and adults entertained. Following a delicious dinner, heartfelt and hilarious speeches left everyone laughing and teary-eyed in equal measure.
One unique touch was the oyster shucker, who delighted guests with freshly prepared oysters—many of them trying it for the first time! This unexpected addition created a buzz before the evening celebrations began.
As the sun dipped lower, a fleeting golden hour provided the perfect opportunity for breathtaking bridesmaid and couple portraits. Charlotte and Josh glowed as they made the most of this dreamy light, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
They’d thought about entertainment at every part of the day and the evening festivities was no different. It kicked off with a sip and search board before a country music live band, bringing energy and joy to the dance floor. A photobooth and casino added extra fun for guests, ensuring everyone found a way to celebrate.
Charlotte and Josh’s military wedding at Syrencot was a heartfelt blend of elegance, tradition, and playfulness. From the emotional ceremony to the lively party, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect their love story.
