Georgina and Fraser Gaterell had a Rainy Tortworth Court Wedding at the De Vere Tortworth Court but despite the rain, we had the most incredible day!
G & F met each other at ballet school at just 16! They were friends first with Fraser admitting he tried to annoy Georgie at every opportunity! They realised they thought of each other more than friends and quickly fell deeply in love.
Ballet featured throughout the wedding day with the wedding tables being named after famous ballets.
Georgie got ready in the Paxton Suite at Tortworth Court and wore a beautiful dress by Le Spose De Gio with a gorgeous bow on the back. Her bridesmaids had stunning green dresses with a similar bow too. Her parents loaned her a beautiful diamond necklace that her dad bought for her mum and she wore her mum’s veil as something borrowed.
The Ceremony
They married in the Orangery as the rain came down onto the glass roof. It felt cosy and magical in there, with their family and friends watching on.
They left their ceremony under a shower of petal confetti and headed for drinks inside the hotel. We snuck out for photos under the archway and couple photos in the grounds before they sat for their wedding breakfast.
The evening brought a brilliant first dance as well as an emotional father-daughter dance! The dancefloor was packed all night because the band are brilliant. After, we went outside for sparklers and fireworks!
Huge thank you for trusting me to capture your rainy Tortworth Court wedding day!
