Newport Park Engagement Session
Courteney and Tom brought their dog, Molly, with them to their Newport Park engagement session in August.
They booked in one of my Midi Sessions which is a shorter engagement session that I’m running until October 2020 due to Coronavirus.
We had the best time exploring Belle Vue Park together. The sun shone for the whole session so we’d picked a brilliant day for it. We spent the shoot chatting about their wedding plans for next year whilst finding the shaded spots under the trees in the dappled light.
They met because both their mum’s used to work together. They’ve been family friends for a very long time so their relationship was the next natural step.
“Then one day we started speaking and it soon led on from there. Within 4 months we were living together and then after 11 months we were engaged – it’s just meant to be!”
Molly was so well behaved and was the perfect model too. Molly even had a part in their engagement story too so she had to come to their engagement session.
“Tom proposed to me around Christmas time in 2018. We were on a dog walk, all wrapped up nice and warm because it was freezing out. The ring was in a box inside a bag, which he tried to attach to the dog’s collar – but this didn’t work! It fell off as she was running and I saw! He quickly picked it up and then proposed with the dog by him!”
These guys get married next year at Caer Llan and my wonderful associate photographer is capturing it for them! I cannot wait to get to edit the photos from their wedding day.
For now, here’s their Newport Park engagement session photos!
