Combe House Hotel Wedding
Natalie and Chris had the most amazing wedding down in Somerset at Combe House Hotel. The hotel is so sweet, it looks like a row of little cottages buried deep within the forest. They chose the venue after being recommended it by a friend. They fell in love with it’s quiet and beautiful location.
The girls got ready in the bridal suite upstairs and enjoyed a morning of being pampered and also creating some hilarious scenes for the marryoke video! In the grounds of Combe House Hotel, the boys had their own lodge to get ready in.
Natalie’s step-dad, Tom, walked her down the aisle after an emotional first look at the bottom of the stairs. They married outside in the courtyard next to the marquee and Natalie’s sister sang them down the aisle which was incredibly touching.
Combe House Hotel is such a perfect place for wedding photographs. The grounds are just gorgeous! The hotel itself is a great backdrop but if you take a wander down the road, you can find a secret forest area complete with lush green trees and a river running through it! My second shooter, Ben, kindly brought his drone along with him to this wedding so we had so much fun following the Natalie and Chris on a stroll through the forest from the air.
They had chosen travel and places they’d visited as the theme for their wedding and it worked perfectly with the blush pink colour scheme. The decor was beautiful in the marquee and I especially loved their popcorn ‘All because he popped the question’ wedding favours!
The evening came and everyone couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor. Being singers, Natalie and her sister opened the dance floor by performing a few songs with the band themselves! I’ve never seen such a jam-packed dance floor for the whole night too!
Thank you so much for having me to document your incredible wedding day at Combe House Hotel!
