The Venue
Maria and Ben had the most gorgeous Lulworth Castle wedding in October 2021. Lulworth Castle is a breath-taking venue on the best of days and Maria’s vision brought it out of the UK and right into Italy!
They covered the place with stunning florals, from floral rings hanging above the tables to huge floral creations adorning the tabletops. It matched incredibly with their gold cutlery and accents.
The Wedding Day
Maria got ready in a beautiful cottage in Lulworth Cove. She spent the morning getting pampered with her bridesmaids before showing it all off to an emotional dad.
They drove to Lulworth Castle and up to the chapel in the grounds where Ben was waiting.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was lovely and in such a beautiful chapel too. They accidentally put their wedding rings on the wrong hands! This made the whole room giggle and it was such a lovely break from the formal service.
They left the ceremony as husband and wife and took a stroll through the grounds towards the castle. Walking out the castle doors under a fluttering of confetti and down the iconic staircase, you could see how happy they were at their Lulworth Castle wedding.
The florals continued with a broken archway surrounding the old castle doors which made the perfect backdrop for their family photos.
The Reception
The speeches were emotional, funny and engaging and the whole room loved hearing stories about Maria and Ben.
They cut the cake with a sword and they ended up cutting through the entire tier by accident! The evening celebrations were kicked off with an espresso martini bar. The swing band played their first dance and got the party started.
The night ended with an amazing firework display. It was such an incredible end to the celebrations!
