I had the best time exploring London with Gina and Mike for their London City engagement session! They both live in London and love it. Gina and Mike met here and spend a lot of time commuting to work together. They wanted to incorporate places that mean a lot to them into their session whilst showing contrast to their wedding venue!
These two get married in May 2020 in Quantock Lakes in Somerset. You can’t get much more rural than that and they wanted to choose a location for their engagement session that was totally different.
They had a great itinerary for the session, allowing us to fit in lots of locations and creative ideas alone the way. We met in London’s City Island for a drink and a chat about their amazing wedding plans! After, we started our shoot on the amazing bridge connecting the Island to the mainland. A quick ride on the tube from Canning Town took us to London Borough Market. It was all closed down and empty for the evening but it didn’t matter, it looked awesome. Gina then took us to an amazing wall mural of hearts nearby. We walked along the river towards the Tate, finishing up by the carousel just as it was closing for the evening.
Such a fantastic time exploring the city through their eyes. Bring on the wedding now!
What an amazing London City engagement session!
