This was such a gorgeous Forest of Dean engagement shoot with Casey and Nick.
How they met:
“Surprisingly enough on Tinder of all places!
We met after messaging for a few days in March 2016 and instantly hit it off. I practically moved in for 2 weeks in the April! We have been inseparable since!”Casey
Casey and Nick are two of the loveliest people and I was heartbroken when covid meant they had to postpone their wedding date. 2020 has thrown some challenges at these two but their love is as strong as ever and it was such a privilege to see that on their engagement shoot.
How he proposed:
Lots of good planning and organisation to ask Casey’s family and buy the ring in the build-up to propose on a weekend away to London.
The plan was to propose under a light arch at Winter Wonderland! Unfortunately, Winter Wonderland was far busier than I expected and due to Casey’s extreme itinerary, the time came and went in a flash.
New plan, arriving at Casey’s family home for Christmas meant a very snap proposal whilst out walking our little puppy Teddy on Christmas eve! Afterwards, we went to the cinema and then on to meet lots of family in the town for drinks! Best Christmas eve ever!Nick

However, their wedding postponement meant there was more time to book in their engagement session with me in the Forest of Dean!
I met them there with Casey’s mum and their Corgi, Ted. Ted totally stole the show of course!
The weather was perfect, the sun low in the sky – a proper autumn day. We explored the forest together and even got to snap a few photos with mum at the end too!
This was such a gorgeous Forest of Dean engagement shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding day at Stone Barn next year!
