Mr & Mrs Easton- Folly Farm Wedding

Hanni and Chris chose to have a Folly Farm wedding after visiting and falling in love with the venue. They’re both really outdoorsy people and loved that it’s a Wildlife Trust site as well as everything being in one place and exclusively for their wedding.

Both of them are physiotherapists and they met when Chris interviewed Hanni for a job at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. They’re both really into their cycling and when I asked them to describe their relationship they said: “Fun, very happy, and mainly spent on two wheels!

Chris popped the question on Christmas Day 2017 after Hanni had opened his gift of dance lessons! This then led to talk of first dances and then he ended up on one knee!

The Wedding Day

I arrived at Folly Farm just as a rainbow appeared over the farm. Hanni was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Outside, her flower girl, her niece Esme, was practicing her petal throwing. Chris was getting ready with his groomsmen in the Atrium and greeting all their guests.

Their friends and family are so talented and kindly gave their time to be involved in the wedding. Chris’s sister played clarinet and Hanni’s brother played keyboard as the guests arrived into the ceremony room. Hanni’s cousin-in-law Nick also sang them back down the aisle after they were wed too!

Hanni’s proud father walked her down the aisle towards a beaming Chris. The ceremony was perfect, relaxed, hilarious in parts and a wonderful celebration of their love. After the ceremony we had the best confetti aisle before I stole the newlyweds away for some perfect autumnal portraits. Just before heading into the wedding breakfast, we spotted the sun just going down over the pond! None of us were expecting a sunset after such a grey morning. We rushed out, with no time for find the gate key, we all climbed over the locked gate- even Hanni! Now that’s my kind of adventurous bride!

It was so worth it because we got some fantastic sunset images before their wedding breakfast of pie and mash, such an epic idea!

The evening brought an incredibly fun band in The 45’s, a campfire and Chris and Hanni stumbling into their honeymoon suite to find that someone had toilet papered the entire place!

Thank you so much for letting me share in your incredible Folly Farm Wedding day!
