Clearwell Castle Wedding, Gloucestershire- Mr & Mrs Rimmer

Kristen and Daniel planned the most incredibly romantic fairytale Clearwell Castle wedding for mid-May. They chose Clearwell Castle as it was always Kristens dream to marry in a castle ever since she was a little girl.

Dan and Kristen met on Tinder almost 4 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. They love to go for cocktails and walk their adorable dog together when they’re not busy planning the wedding!

The Proposal

“She had booked me a trip to Vegas for my 30th birthday. Whilst we were there I planned a special meal at prime steak restaurant. I proposed afterwards in front of the Bellagio fountains!”

The Clearwell Castle Wedding

The wedding day was a beautiful sunny Monday in May and the castle looked incredible in the spring sunshine. A cinderella carriage complete with white horses arrived to take Kristen and her dad for a ride around the village. She arrived back to her ceremony to marry a nervous Dan.

Her dad walked her half way down the aisle and swapped with her adopted dad half way down. This was such a lovely touch to include them both.

After the ceremony Kristen and Dan went for their own ride in the carriage. They opened each others wedding cards on the ride round too. We got them back in time to greet their guests in the beautiful castle grounds before heading in for their wedding breakfast.

The speeches were heartfelt and emotional with the best men bringing the laughter for their speech. We stole some time for sunset and amazing pink smoke bomb photographs before Dan and Kristen took their first dance as man and wife.

The night ended with sparklers with a brilliant fun bridal party outside the front of the castle!
